All students are provided with a ULCN account. This account enables you to access all the facilities you might need during your studies.
Via your U-account you can access the Blackboard digital learning environment, uMail, Usis and many other ICT applications.

Blackboard is the university’s digital learning environment. An area is created for each individual course. Within each area you can access PowerPoint presentations and assignments for your lectures, join discussion groups, send emails and much more.
All faculty buildings at Leiden University have computer rooms which offer unlimited internet access for students. A large number of computers are also available for student use at the university library and Plexus Student Centre.
Wireless internet access is available within all faculty buildings, in the university library, at Plexus Student Centre and in the ‘Oude UB’ administrative complex.
